I get the impression that Israel is expected to put up with this. The implied message from demonstrators and some opinion columnists is that this is the price Israel is supposed to pay for being, I suppose, Israel.
A few rockets never hurt anyone. Could even be good for moral and community building! Will suggest this to the local Council, so that they can celebrate their annual Hamas week by deploying and firing rockets into the richer and more powerful suburbs of town. Will placate the anarchists and poor (read communists).
